When it leaves

Every order is picked, checked, and packed at our warehouse in Fort Lauderdale, FL. An order placed on a business day leaves the following business day. An order placed over the weekend goes out on Monday.

Business days are Monday to Friday. Public holidays are not business days, and a holiday week can add a day to everything below.

When it arrives

Standard shipping takes about seven business days in transit. Checkout shows you an estimated delivery date before you pay; it is an estimate from the carrier's own averages, not a guarantee. Boxes leave Florida, so an address on the west coast sits at the long end of that range and one in the southeast at the short end.

Once the box is with the carrier, the schedule is theirs. Weather, sorting backlogs, and the weeks around a holiday all move dates, and none of it is visible to us any earlier than it is to you.

Tracking

You get a tracking number by email when the box ships. If it has not arrived within two business days of your order, check the spam folder first, then email orders@threeatelier.com and we will resend it.

Addresses

We ship to the address you enter at checkout, exactly as you enter it. Tell us the same day if you got it wrong and we will fix it before the box goes out — there is a business day between your order and the carrier. After that we cannot recall a package, and a parcel returned to us as undeliverable is refunded less the cost of the return leg.

Summer heat

Soy wax softens well below the temperature inside a delivery van in July. A candle that travels through a hot week can arrive with a frosted, uneven, or slightly pulled-away surface.

That is the wax setting a second time, not damage. Burn it once for three to four hours and the top levels itself. If wax has actually pooled and re-hardened over the label or the jar arrives warm to the touch, send us a photo — that one is on us.

Outside the US

Not yet. Candles are heavy, and shipping one abroad costs more than the candle. When that changes we will say so here first.
